New York: Sam Worthington and his girlfriend Lara Bingle have been sued for 10 million dollar by following the violent punch-up with photographer Sheng Li.

Li's lawyers had filed a lawsuit following the alleged assault earlier in February 2014, where the photographer has accused the actor couple for his injuries, including a torn shoulder, the New York Post reported.

He also blamed the pair for allegedly making false statements about him to the NYPD.
Li's attorney, Mark J. Heller, said that there were images flooding over the internet at the time of the assault, which showed the 'Avatar' star and Bingle beat down Li, and now they both would have "starring roles as defendants in a federal court of law."
