Sandeep Anand: It's not easy to become a woman onscreen

Popular faces of small screen like Sunil Grover, Gaurav Gera and Krushna Abhishek have portrayed female characters in front of the camera. Sandeep Anand says its not an easy task.

Sandeep, who currently plays the role of Sajan in 'May I come in Madam?', will next be seen donning a female avatar to become Shanta Lopez in the popular TV show.

"They (the makers) have made me a woman before this also. I feel the two hot actresses (Neha Pendse and Sapna Sikarwar) don't bring as much glamour in the show as I do.

"I have observed several domestic helps go about their chores, and that helped me pull off the character," Sandeep said in a statement.

Though he added that "it's not easy to become a girl or woman".

"The response on the set was fantastic. My favourite woman disguise character from Bollywood is Kamal Hassan from 'Chachi 420' and according to me so far no one has done it so beautifully,"
Sandeep said.

'May I come in Madam?' is aired on Life OK.
