Sunrise Sports Club's Sangram Bagul is on song. The 29-year-old right-handed batsman slammed his third consecutive ton in the 'B' Division of the Dr HD Kanga Cricket League to help his club take the first innings lead against Kandivli CA yesterday.

Riding on Bagul’s unbeaten 100, Sunrise SC posted 277-3 before declaring. Tushar Armarkar (4-71) and Arun Yadav (3-12) did well to restrict Kandivli CA to 197.

Bagul, who was part of Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy squad for a match in 2007, has scored two half-centuries and three centuries in this Kanga season.
