Sanju Samson helps Kerala take lead

Sanju Samson's double century helped Kerala gain a crucial first innings lead against Assam on the third day yesterday.

Kerala were dismissed for 362 in reply to Assam’s first innings total of 323, courtesy four wickets apiece from spinners J Syed Mohammad (4-87) and Arlen Konwar (4-94). Samson hit 211 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium. At the close of play, Assam were 13 for no loss.u00a0
