Tari was dancing in the procession when suddenly the bullock rammed him from behind. He fell down and the raging animal ran over him. He started bleeding and was immediately rushed to a private clinic. He has been advised rest for two days.

According to eyewitnesses, the bursting of firecrackers during the procession had agitated the bullock due to which it went berserk. “I was clicking photographs of my neighbour’s son who was dancing in the procession when the bullock came from behind and rammed into my back. I fell down and my hand got injured,” said Bhokte.

Bhokte was in a state of shock and was rushed to Dr Prakash Dalvi’s private clinic. Both victims were members of Jai Durga Mata Mitra Mandal.u00a0
