School students can practice for free at MHA on weekends

Mumbai Hockey Association (MHA) has decided to allow schools to use their astro-turf facility free of cost twice a week for practice over weekends

In the wake of declining standards of hockey, and some of the top teams scoring goals virtually every minute against weak sides in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school tournament, Mumbai Hockey Association (MHA) has decided to allow schools to use their astro-turf facility free of cost twice a week for practice over weekends.

“We will allow schools to come and practice on first-cum-first-serve basis,” said MHA secretary Ram Singh Rathore.u00a0
