Second bundle of joy! TV actress Shweta Tiwari blessed with a baby boy

TV actress Shweta Tiwari, known for her roles in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' and 'Begusarai', has given birth to her second child -- a baby boy at Surya Hospital in Mumbai's western suburb of Santacruz

Actress Shweta Tiwari has been blessed with a baby boy. This is the second child for the popular TV actress, who atttained stardom with her role as Prerna in the daily soap, 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'. She gave birth to the boy on Sunday at Surya Hospital in Mumbai's western suburb of Santacruz. 

Dr Shobha Sharma, the pediatrician of Surya Hospital, said, "Baby boy is doing fine and healthy, the process was smooth.”

Shweta is married to actor Abhinav Kohli in 2013, after they dated for almost three years.

The 36-year-old actress said in a statement, "We are extremely happy that Dr Cherry Shah, our gynaecologist and obstetrician chose us to deliver at Surya which is a complete dedicated hospital for women & children. We had no worries as were confident that both would be looked after well."

Shweta has a 15-year-old daughter Palak from her first marriage to Raja Chaudhary.

Shweta, who won the Bigg Boss in its fourth session, started her career at the age of 19. Her role in 'Kahani Kissi Roz' in 2001 was the early start of her career, which was followed with 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay', which run for 7 continuous years till 2008. She participated in many other TV shows and even took part in some of the reality shows, both as host and as a participant.
