The Gr 2, Ramniwas Ramnarain Ruia Gold Cup may turn out a virtual exercise workout for the champion colt with his regular partner Sandesh to guide him.
On current form, Critics Choice who is bidding for a hat-trick on this track may be able to extend her winning streak despite having to tackle an extra furlong. However, she will have to be not only at her best, but also at her most alert as among her rivals are Renee, who has finally resumed her winning ways; Dancing Prances, who is perhaps on the decline but still retains fire in his belly; and most important--Holy Smoke, who seems to have acquired good form if his recent track trials are any indication. I expect Critics Choice to win from Holy Smoke in a close finish.
