Sewage water running on to the Karnatak SA ground disrupted the Mumbai Cricket Association's U-19 selection trial tie for the Sportstar Trophy between Vijay Merchant XI and Khandu Rangnekar XI yesterday.

Merchant XI's Shivam Mishra (41) and Siddhant Mooley (27) added 22 runsu00a0 in eight overs when the ground was flooded by sewage water being pumped out by municipal workers.

Umpires called off the day's play because of slippery conditions. Earlier, Rangnekar XI were bowled out for 176 in 70 overs.
