Actor Shah Rukh Khan is known to be one of the most humble and down-to-earth actors in Bollywood. The cast and crew of Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai experienced this for themselves when the superstar visited them along with his Jab Harry Met Sejal co-actor Anushka Sharma.

"Shah Rukh shot a few scenes with the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. We were lucky that we already had a track about a lost ring, which is also a big part of the story of the film. It fit so seamlessly in the episode. In fact, it did not even feel like a film promotion," says Rajan, adding, "Although he is a big actor, Shah Rukh was so humble. He was such an inspiration to the team members, who couldn't stop talking about his visit for hours after he left."

Rajan and SRK's association goes way back. Not many know but Shah Rukh and Rajan are from the same school. They were both in St. Columbus, New Delhi. In fact, Imtiaz Ali, who has directed Jab Harry Met Sejal, was Rajan's college classmate. "Imtiaz Ali and I were classmates in Hindu college, Delhi University. I wish them both the best of luck on behalf of the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai team. The credit of such a sussecfu l integration goes the entire team of YRKKH he says.

Shahi was unable to meet King Khan this time, as he was travelling, but he remembers meeting him some time back. "I met Shah Rukh when I got Vishesh Samman award from Star Plus at Star Parivar Awards, a few years back. Shah Rukh was the guest of honour. It was lovely to meet him then. I was not able to meet him this time as I was travelling for work," says Rajan.
