Australian spin great Shane Warne has slammed reports that he is in talks with Network Ten to become the next Bachelor in a contract worth more than $1million. After Australian weekly New Idea claimed yesterday that Warne is set to become the next Bachelor, he took to Twitter to deny the story. He wrote: "Once AGAIN 'No Idea' has completely made up a story about me being the new bachelor! This is hurtful to me & my children as it's total lies. Ps I have not had one conversation with anyone about this. How can they continue to print lies about me, makeup stories & get away with it?"

According to British tabloid, The Daily Mail, an insider reportedly told New Idea about Warne being keen about joining the reality televison series. "Whatever he does always ends up in the media, so why not give it a shot. He is the first to admit he doesn't always make the best choices with women," the source told the newspaper.
