Shikhar Dhawan yesterday thanked his family and fans for their birthday wishes. India opening batsman, Dhawan, who turned 32 yesterday, scored a crucial 67 in the second innings of the third Test against Sri Lanka at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, cut a cake with wife Ayesha, daughter Rhea and son Zorawar by his side last evening.

In a video uploaded on Twitter thereafter, he said: "Thanks to everyone for your wishes -- this birthday is special because I have my family here with me and more than that I did well on the ground, and all the supporters out there wished me and sang happy birthday.
