She is counted among the leading names in the industry, but clearly, she wants more.

This actress, whose recently released film has not helped her earn good reviews, was heard complaining about how she felt sidelined during the film's promotions.

A source says, "This actress was heard telling her close friends that she lacks the marketing skills to promote herself aggressively. She has been part of many multi-starrers in the past and even then she would feel that she was losing out on well-deserved publicity. This time around, she felt that her co-stars had gone out of their way to promote their film while she joined its promotions a little later. She feels that the rest of the cast stole the limelight away from her."

The source adds that in a bid to stem this problem, she reached out to more people on her own.

"She went ahead and arranged her own interactions with help from her crew where she spoke about her other projects, apart from this recent film. This is not the first time she has done something like this; in fact, she was upset with the producers of one of her two-heroine projects last year and she showed her displeasure then by skipping some of the promotional events," says the source.
