This successful director, who is currently working on a new film, seems to have taken a fancy to a fresh-faced actress he has cast. Unit members feel there is something brewing between the duo as the director has been pampering her.

A source says, "Her casting in the big-ticket project created a lot of buzz. When the shoot began, they were quite formal with each other. However, soon enough, they became good friends and of late, have been enjoying each other’s company. Since she is fairly new in the industry, she spends a lot of time on the set and usually prefers to chat her director up."

Although the man in question is married, things are far from rosy between him and his wife. The actress too is said to be seeing someone.

Adds the source: "Theirs could be a casual affair. For the last few years, he had been linked to another actress after they worked together. This time round, he seems quite fond of this actress and has been taking great care of her. He makes sure that she gets whatever she wants on the set and has not given her a chance to complain. After the film releases, we will know if this is a fleeting fling or there’s something deeper to it."
