After picking on Alia Bhatt, who played a Bihari character in Udta Punjab (2016) for stereotyping people from the state, Neetu Chandra now has issues with Sidharth Malhotra. During the promotions of his upcoming film Aiyaari in Bigg Boss, Malhotra was given a lesson in Bhojpuri by co-actor Manoj Bajpayee. While mouthing the lines, Malhotra quipped that he felt like "latrine" while talking in Bhojpuri.

Yesterday, a fan brought it to the notice of Chandra, who expressed her disgust on social media. She wrote, "So disappointed @S1dharthM someone who is so fortunate to work with the best. Who despite being an outsider has made a name for himself, for you to use your words so loosely to disrespect Bhojpuri on national TV (sic)." Chandra further wrote. "Shame on you." Later, she found herself being trolled by Malhotra's fans for taking on their screen idol.

However, after being reprimanded by Chandra, Sid has apologized for his comment on Bhojpuri and said he didn't mean any disrespect to the language. Sidharth took to Twitter later and apologised, saying, "I recently tried speaking a new language while I was on a TV show. In the process if I inadvertently hurt anyone's feelings or sentiments, I apologise and assure you that no disrespect was meant in any way.(sic)"

Well, Neetu hasn't replied on this tweet, though meanwhile, she is busy with her Twitter rant with Twiterratis.
I am disappointed that Neetu Chandra disrespects the English language by using digits instead of alphabets and "u" and "ur" instead of the actual words. https://t.co/MQirdkpadS
