After Woodstock Villa and his last release Summer 2007 did nothing to boost his career, star son Sikandar will get to try his luck again with his stepfather's next. It is learnt that Anupam Kher will relaunch him in his next home production.
Anupam, who also directs the film, has decided to cast Sikandar in the lead. The yet untitled project will be shot in India and overseas as well. The film is already in pre-production and the script is in place.

The star son is tight-lipped about the development and feigns ignorance when asked. However a source confirms the development, "This will be Anupam Kher's second film as a director (the first was 2003's Om Jai Jagdish). He's mighty excited with the prospect of directing Sikandar in this flick."

The film will be a romantic comedy. Adds the source, "Sikandar has not dabbled with comedy yet. Woodstock and Summer were serious roles; this one will be a refreshing change. Anupam is currently out of the country and will start casting once he's back."u00a0
