Celeb apps are a rage these days with the likes of Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sunny Leone and Sonam Kapoor among others, boasting of personalised apps. Joining the bandwagon is Shaan. The singer launched his mobile app today, which will enable his fans to get up-close and personal with him.

Explaining what prompted this move, Shaan tells mid-day, "At this point in my life, I want to experiment with my music and try different things. I came up with this app so that I can get direct feedback from my audience on my music."
The singer adds that he will have live jam sessions on the app and at the end of each session, he will announce a contest for his fans. Titled Jam With Me, the contest will give an opportunity to the winners to meet Shaan. Other features include Shaan’s unplugged performances, Jugalbandi that will feature other artistes besides the Tanha Dil singer. "Since my fans will have direct access to my other social networking sites through the app, they can know about my day-to-day activities," he says.
The app will also have a chat option, where fans can connect with him directly. It will also enable aspiring artistes to showcase their talent to Shaan.
