Six vehicles caught fire, allegedly due to short circuit in a Pune society at around 2.20 am on Tuesday.

The incident took place near the parking area of DSK Vishwa's Bhaskar's 'F' building situated at Dhayari in Pune. The Sinhagad police police are probing the case.


Six two wheelers a bicycle were burnt in this incident.

According to Fire brigade officer, "The incident took place around 2.20 am and we rushed to the spot as soon as we were alerted. The fire was bought under control within 20 minutes. The society members also tried to pull out the other vehicles as the flames were reaching till the third floor of the society. The fire broke near the electricity distribution box in the society's parking area and some 15 vehicles were parked in the vicinity. Primary investigations reveal the cause of fire to be short circuit but police are still probing the case."
