Two people were reportedly killed, and six others injured after a portion of a slab of Prasad Shopping Centre building at Kakaji Nagar in Goregaon (west) collapsed on Tuesday night at around 10.30 pm, according to the Disaster Management cell of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)
Parshuram Yadav(16) and Naseer (last name unknown) (30) were the two who were reported dead.

All those rescued from the rubble were sent to Siddharth Hospital at Goregaon (west). About four fire brigade vehicles were sent to the spot for rescue operations as many were feared trapped under the rubble.
The building was a ground plus five storey structure.
