Congress General Secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said: "Congress President returned early today and she is fine."

According to reports, 64-year-old Gandhi, who had left the country on August 2 and had thereafter undergone a surgery, is not meeting anyone presently.
Sonia Gandhi had constituted a four-member team comprising her son and party General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, Defence Minister AK Antony, her political advisor Ahmed Patel and Janardhan Dwivedi to look after party affairs in her absence.
