America's most decorated alpine skier Lindsey Vonn trains very hard but also rests for an equal, if not more, amount of time. Vonn, 32, was asked recently what is her wellness secret. She replied: "Sleep. I feel like sleep solves everything. If you're sick, go take a nap, go to bed early. In any situation, I feel like sleep is the best solution."

Interestingly, the world champion skier Vonn, currently preparing for the start of the new season, sleeps for 10 hours a day. "Usually it's nine, plus an hour nap. My priority is making my body feel the best it possibly can, and that's always what seems to make it feel better," she added. Now who coined the term 'if you snooze, you lose'?
