Sridevi's birthday bash: A night to remember

Saturday night started off with a bang as a birthday bash was hosted for Sridevi. The actress, who turned 50, saw high society’s who’s who pouring in to wish her on her big day. The hosts were the first to walk in with Boney’s newfound friend politician, Amar Singh.

Sri’s younger daughter Khushi was in full spirits and brought her cousins along to the party. All the excitement around could have got on her nerves, as the teenager almost walked into the men’s loo in a moment of confusion.

Sri was apparently a bit unwell. But moments later, the veteran actress emerged, in sky-high heels looking like a million bucks. Accompanying her was elder daughter Jhanvi, who guests remarked was looking like a splitting image of her mother. Says an onlooker, “Juhi Chawla also came and she and Sri got into a warm embrace.”

Anil Kapoor too attended the party to wish his sister-in-law and former co-star. Since he had a long morning ahead, he quickly departed leaving his other brother Sanjay Kapoor with wife Maheep to enjoy the bash. Pamela Chopra was also in attendance. The birthday girl, who apparently was expecting a smaller party, was later heard whispering into her husband’s ears, “Yeh kya kar diya aapne?”u00a0
