Steven Gerrard 'attacked' on street in England
Liverpool's legendary midfielder Steven Gerrard was left 'badly shaken' after being at the receiving end of some vile abuse from an unidentified person earlier this year, reports in the British press claimed yesterday.
The attack, which occurred in August, happened outside a shop shortly after the England captain got out of his Range Rover. He was accompanied by his wife and three daughters at the time of the attack.
The attacker hurled abuse at Gerrard before fleeing. The Merseyside Police have launched an investigation into the attack.
