"I haven't thought of my image. I never think about it. I only think about the story. I look at it how the audience would look at it and if they would want to watch the film," Imran said.

Talking about how he went back in time with this film, he said that he based his character on the stars of the late 80s.

"I based my character on the heroes of mid 1980s like Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff," he said.

Director Milan Luthria said that he added a contemporary touch to the film.

"For me it was easy to go back (in time) but I had to have a contemporary touch to it. Otherwise it would have been boring. It has to have the pace of today," he said.

Set in the backdrop of the late 80s, the launch recreated the mood of old Mumbai. The starcast were dressed in the looks which they have in the film. The launch kickstarted with elaborate enteries by the starcast who even performed a few dialogues from the film.

Directed by Milan Luthria, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan. The launch was also attended by Jeetendra, Tusshar Kapoor, Poonam Sinha among others.
