The actress-model has been seen both on TV as well as in Bollywood.u00a0She admits, “I didn’t have any creditable role under my belt; at least not until Gauri offered me the film. My earlier projects are not worthy of mention and where I had meaty roles the film flopped miserably.

An actor’s talent is showcased only with a box office hit or if the film has won critical acclaim.”u00a0She bagged the role with a standard audition. “I remember thinking that this opportunity would be worth my time playing Sridevi’s sister was too good to resist.”u00a0After working with Sri, she has realised why filmmakers like Shekhar Kapur and Ram Gopal Verma were so enthralled by her. “Her innocence is the most delightful thing about her. She is so grounded that the cast was delighted with her encouragement.”u00a0


Sujata’s last B-Town outing was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish. “I made my acting debut late in life. It began just for the heck of it. I had my portfolio done and began modelling. I had friends in the media who put me on to production houses.”u00a0Apart from acting, Sujata, a cancer survivor, is also a hypnotherapist and past life regressionist. “I am also a life coach that aids in personal and professional empowerment.” u00a0
