Summer's here, kids take to the stage
With the final academic examinations around the corner, and kids already making plans for the fun times ahead, there are a set of workshops that your little ones can sign up for.
Theatre group Junoon, is back with their summer edition of Arts at Play, a series of creative workshops for children that span different streams of art. For this year’s summer’s calendar, they have 32 workshops to be conducted across three venues in the city, for children between six to 16 years.
The workshops are targetted at helping children develop different skills through fun and creative methods. Some that caught the eye included the Juggling Circus workshop that will help improve the mind-body co-ordination, The Art and Craft of Improvisation workshop to help children believe in their imagination and the Speech and Voice Culture workshop to utilise the power of one’s speech to the fullest.
On May 1 onwards
At Khar, Kandivali and Matunga (E).
