Sushant Singh Rajput and Abhishek Kapoor aka Gattu, who had a fallout of sorts not so long ago, are likely to team up again after 'Kai Po Che!'

The gossip mills are buzzing about Sushant Singh Rajput's possible reunion with Abhishek Kapoor aka Gattu, who had launched him in 'Kai Po Che!' (2013).

The actor was supposed to work with his mentor in 'Fitoor', but according to reports, he was tactfully elbowed out of the project. Sushant had kept himself free for the film, which was consistently pushed ahead — from October 2013 to March 2014 and then July 2014 — and he signed Shekhar Kapur's 'Paani' and Dibakar Banerjee's 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' Consequently, he had to opt out of 'Fitoor' over clash of dates and Aditya Roy Kapur replaced him.
Recently, when Abhishek Kapoor saw the trailer of his upcoming whodunit, he called up Sushant and spoke about teaming up on a future project, says an industry source. "They are eager to work together after 'Fitoor' is wrapped up. But it's too early to give out the details of their conversation," the source adds.
Sushant Singh Rajput is also looking forward to reuniting with Abhishek Kapoor. "Of course I want to work with him, but nothing is confirmed as yet," he says.
