Hermia is an improviser, composer and explorer of music from around the world and is fond of both the saxophone and the flute. He states, “This is the first time that I will be playing the saxophone in the city. I have learned Indian ragas and like to experiment a lot with Indian and Western music. I try to find new ways to mix the two music types.”
