While talking to The Daily Telegraph, the 25-year-old sportswoman, who bagged three gold medals at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, said that since things had happened so fast, she faced difficulties in coping, trying to smile every day, and it was a huge challenge.

"It was all a really big challenge," Rice said, becoming emotional during her interview with The Daily Telegraph.
"Everything happened at one time and I definitely struggled. It hasn't all been 'easy breezy' and I've just been smiling every day.
There's been some really tough times." Rice, who announced her retirement earlier this year and had signed contract to promote platinum performance range for Russell Athletic, continued saying that though identifying herself apart from being an Olympic champion, was "the hardest part", she would now be focusing on her business and personal goals.
