Teacher held for having group-sex with her students says she was victimised

Brittni Colleps, a 28-year-old wife and mother of three, was convicted on 16 counts of having improper relationships with students in August and is currently serving a five-year jail term.

Her conviction came after a salacious round of courtroom testimony this summer, when jurors heard her student sex partners say they were “happy” to mess around in her home, and that Colleps had once described herself as an “anything goes in sex kind of girl.”

The most damning evidence against Colleps was that graphic, homemade videotape of her group sex.

“I felt like I was victimized in that video, because I did not, I never gave my consent for it,” the New York Daily News quoted Colleps, as saying in a jailhouse interview with ‘20/20.’

Of the students she had group sex with, Brittni Colleps now says, “they didn’t feel like victims last year, they don’t feel like victims now.”

Colleps’ case was unique — not only for its extremely lewd nature — but also because the students she had sex with were consenting adults at the time.

That being the case, she did not face rape charges. Rather, Colleps faced the charge of “having improper relations with students,” stemming from a Texas law, which prohibits teachers from having sex with students — at any age
