Team India leaves for West Indies

Indian team yesterday departed for Jamaica for the tri-nation series in the West Indies beginning on June 28

MS Dhoni’s men on Sunday lifted the Champions Trophy beating hosts England by five runs.

“Off to jamaica nw,,, Nxt mission ahead ,had a lovely time in England....,” tweeted all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. “On board to Jamaica, with the new speed gun (Mohammed Shami) that’s joined us,” tweeted off-spinner R Ashwin.

Fast bowler Shami has replaced injured Irfan Pathan in the Indian squad.

India face the West Indies at Sabina Park, Jamaica on June 30 in their opening match of the series, also involving Sri Lanka.
