A 17-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh bit off the tongue of a man who allegedly tried to rape her.

A teenage girl bit off the tongue of a youth, who allegedly tried to rape her in Bhartana area of Uttar Pradesh.

Kailash Bahelia (25) barged into house of the 17-year-old girl Saturday and tried to rape her in Furra Salempur village, police said.

In an act of self-defence, the teenager cut off tongue of the youth with her teeth.

The youth has been arrested and was undergoing treatment at a hospital, police said.u00a0
