Ssharad Malhotra, who tied the knot in April 2019, took off for a trip to Romania sans wife Ripci Bhatia. The actor says she did not mind as once in a while it's good to travel alone and discover yourself. "I visited Bucharest and Brasov. I love visiting museums and art galleries. Romania had lots to offer. The place was freezing, but the people are warm and hospitable," he says. Malhotra also did a photo shoot with a local photographer.

Sharad loved the natives there as well. "Considering the temperature had dipped to -5°c, the Romanians were still very hospitable and warm people. I made some local friends too and it was such an enriching and endearing experience to understand and see the local Romanian culture," he says.

In fact, the actor got a special photoshoot done as well. "Fortunately, I also connected with one of their amazingly talented photographers and we spontaneously managed to get a photoshoot in no time. It was super fun shooting in freezing temperatures something I hadn't experienced earlier and it was an adrenaline rush all the way through. The pics look great and they'll be out soon," he says.

Ask him what are the top 5 things do in Romania, and he says, "Visit the old town in Bucharest. Make sure to see the museum and art galleries that say volumes about the history and culture. Visit Brasov. Visit Bran (The famous Bram stoker's Dracula's castle) and Visit Poiana for skiing."

Twist in tale

Divya Drishti actor Mansi Srivastava has been roped in for Vidya. She plays Mehek, who is Vivek's (essayed by Namish Taneja) childhood friend. As her parents passed away when she was young, Vivek's family has taken care of her. Srivastava's entry in the show will change the equation between Vidya and Vivek. A twist in the tale is in the offing.

Mansi says, "The show is set in a village, and I will play a Delhi-based designer, who is bubbly and full of life. While Vivek's (Namish) mother wants us to get married, I don't want to come in between him and Vidya as I am aware that they love each other."

It is to be noted that Mansi is entering the show around three weeks after her ex-boyfriend, Mohit Abrol's track wound up. They had an ugly break-up in January 2019 after being in a relationship for eight years. So, was there any awkwardness about entering the same show close on the heels of Mohit's exit? Also, would she be comfortable sharing screen space with him in the future?

Mansi replies, "I am focused on my character and nothing else. Even if I had to work with him, it would be as professionals, I have nothing to do with him as a person. I have to deal with the situation in a mature way." Producer Mahesh Pandey adds, " the audiences will get to see a lot of twists and turns in forthcoming episodes."
