Sachin Tendulkar's speech after his 200th and final Test for India ended with a victory over the West Indies was indeed a talking point for the rest of the day.

However, Tendulkar delivered a short speech before the start of the third day’s play at the Wankhede Stadium to his teammates in the dressing room.

According to a source, here is what Tendulkar said: “It’s a journey that you all have to carry forward. Road ahead is not easy. You got to fight against complacency.

There are so many talented cricketers in the world today, someone somewhere is working harder than you, and you got to work harder even more.

“It’s your hard work that is going to take care of your success and achievements. The game of cricket expects a lot from you. Serve this game with honesty and
passion.”
