Revealing the reason behind having the music launch at the cafe, Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) said: "It was a very tragic event and the reason why we are here today is when I met the owner Farzad Jehani he shared his experience and his perspective of what happened. So I thought I should approach him to play himself in the film."

The owner of the cafe, Farzad Jehani, says he was skeptical before playing himself in the film.

Farzad Jehani said: "When Ramu approached me, I was reluctant. I was scared. I didn't want to go through the trauma again. But Ramu convinced me and said he wants to show the world the trauma we went through."

The film has five music directors, including Sukhwinder Singh, Rooshin Dalal, Kaizad Gherda, Amar Mohile, Vishal Khosla and Sushil Khosla.

While the singers sang some songs live in front of the media, many scenes from the film were also shown. Besides these, even two victims who were at the cafe on the terror night shared their experience with everybody.

Actor Nana Patekar, who is playing the role of Joint Commissioner of Police Rakesh Maria, says he had to adopt the police officer's attitude.

"Rakesh is my friend and I did not have to walk like him or copy him, I had to adapt his attitude. I have immense respect for all the policemen. They work so hard and they get minimum salary. I respect them a lot," the 63-year-old said.

Directed by Ram Gopal Varma "The Attacks of 26/11" is slated for March 1 release.
