Australian actress Tabrett Bethell features as Uday Chopra's love interest in the film
Australian television and theatre actress Tabrett Bethell is part of the upcoming film, Dhoom 3. She features opposite Uday Chopra in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s film.
A unit member says, “The buzz about Tabrett being part of Dhoom 3 has been doing the rounds for long. Her character has been kept under wraps to arouse curiosity.”
The hottie from Down Under will play a blonde living in the US and sparks fly when she meets Uday’s character, Ali. She featured in the Chicago schedule of the thriller.
Although the production house remains tightlipped about her presence in the film, Uday had posted on his social networking site in the past, “Please welcome the lovely Tabrett Bethell who joining the cast of Dhoom 3 today (sic).”
The source adds, “As there is no in your face promotions for the film even by its lead actors Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan, Tabrett’s name has not been doing the rounds.”
Bethell started her acting career in 2008 with the TV series Legend of the Seeker and then starred in small screen thriller The Clinic. She was also seen in movies such as Strangers Lovers Killers and Anyone You Want.
Prior to acting, she was a cheerleader for an Australian rugby league team and a model.
There has also been buzz that Cocktail actress Diana Penty features in Dhoom 3, however her spokesperson says, “She is not part of the film and it is just a rumour.”
