Dinner with Dolce
While in Prague, I went to designer Dolce's (Of Dolce and Gabbana fame) resto-bar for dinner. I was lucky to meet him out there. His restaurant was fully done up in gold and had an extremely glamourous look. I told him that I was an Indian designer and we discussed Indian fashion. He is a very warm and positive person who made me feel truly welcome and comfortable.

Italian inspiration
I also visited cities like Venice and Milan. One of the most memorable experiences was the visit to the Morano Glass Factory. There I saw the craftsmen making beautiful glass artefacts. The manner in which they made the wares by blending the glass with various colours and jewels had me totally hooked. I loved the designs and have incorporated some of it in my latest New Year collection.

My style mantra
I love to dress in a pair of jeans with a crisp white shirt. White makes me feel fresh. I own at least 32 white shirts. I love accessories like shoes, clutches and jewellery. Louis Vuitton and Roberto Cavalli are my favourite designers. I need to own the latest hand bag and shoe from Louis Vuitton. Roberto Cavalli's outfits and accessories with leopard prints have a lot of appeal for me. In Indian designers, I like the classic, understated yet detailed work of Abu Jani.

New Year plans
On New Year's eve I plan to be with my close friends at a private party. I enjoy small intimate gatherings than partying with unknown people at big bashes. It's important for me to welcome the New Year with people who matter in my life. Good music, great food and positive energy are all I need to have a good time.u00a0
