The much awaited third edition of the hit American sci-fi franchise 'The Hunger Games' is soon to release.

'The Hunger games: Mockingjay - Part 1'

The much awaited third edition of the hit American sci-fi franchise 'The Hunger Games' is soon to release. 'The Hunger games: Mockingjay – Part 1' is adapted from the 'The Hunger Games' trilogy by Suzanne Collins. The latest edition of the franchise is being directed by Francis Lawrence who also directed 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'. The Film stars Jennifer Lawrence, John Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson.


'The Hunger games: Mockingjay - Part 1' 


The film is a continuation from the second part where Katness Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) who, after escaping the Third Quarter Quell, becomes a reluctant hero and symbol of hope for the nation of Panem. The Director Francis Lawrence is known to have a great knack for adapting sci-fi novels, as he has done successfully in the past with great hits like I Am Legend and Constantine.


This mega budget franchise has great screenplay by Peter Craig and Danny Strong and cinematography by Jo Willems. The movie boasts of a plethora of great actors like Woody Harrelson, the second youngest academy award winner Jennifer Lawrence (best lead actress) and latest addition being the legendary actress Julianne Moore. The film is scheduled to hit Indian screens on 21st November 2014.
