Six participants will get the opportunity to ride with Hamilton. Of these, two customers are being selected through a contest that is being promoted online and on radio.

To participate online, log on to www.vodafone.in/speedfest and answer a quiz related to F1 and write a slogan. Alternatively, participants can text message ‘Speed’ to 56565 and get a chance to win a ride. Other four customers would be the chosen enterprise and business customers of Vodafone.

“I always love coming to India and I am really excited to be coming to Mumbai this time. I am simply overwhelmed by the incredible excitement shown by the people here. Last year, I had a wonderful experience in Bangalore and this year I am hoping that the excitement will be faster, smarter and better in Mumbai,” says Lewis Hamilton, over an email interview.

Suresh Rangarajan, head, corporate communications, Vodafone India, says a new initiative is being planned to incorporate the small and medium business community and to give then a platform for easier path of growth.

The Vodafone India Drive Into The Big League gives one SME the opportunity to take centrestage with their logo on the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes cars at the second season of the formula one motor racing event in New Delhi to be held between October 26-28. “We’ve received over 3,00,000 entries for the contest and the winner will be announced a few days before the Indian Grand Prix weekend,” says Rangarajan.
