Nehru Centre's Art gallery will feature artists from different states who will display their works during an exhibition

The 'State' of art show

Started in 2007 by Ram Pradhan, Vice President of Nehru Centre, the main objective of Art gallery is to promote upcoming talent across India.


Assistant art director at Art Gallery, Nina Rege explains, “The Art Fusion show will represent different artists and their varied art forms under one platform. This year we are highlighting talents from Maharashtra and Rajasthan.” she explains.

In its seventh year now Art gallery has earlier played host to several artists from West Bengal, Karnataka, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.

Along with the artists, 11 artisans will also demonstrate block painting, tie and dye and blue pottery.

Artist Sunil Pardeshi whose work will be on display and is greatly inspired by nature says, “I have always felt that life is a journey of unrevealed moments. In the nature through portraits, wildlife, I want my audience to look for these aspects in my art,” he concludes.
