The world through a measured lens

The Internet has this tendency to astound you when you expect it the least; be it the dumbest news of a reality TV star getting her hair bleached or the saner newspages that make you think and want to change your perspective about several things in this world.

Belonging to the second category is Emaho Magazine, an online journal that combines music, photography, travel art and culture. Founded by Manik Katyal, this Delhi-based online magazine aims to especially encourage creative photography by supporting national and international talent with help of it’s online editorials, and physical exhibitions around the world.

One such ongoing project by Emaho is its exhibition of photographs of Kashmir captured by photographers who have documented the state during different times. The exhibition is being held at the Chiang Mai Documentary Arts Festival in Thailand till February 14. While you may not be able to head to Thailand for the photographs, we suggest you check out the other entries on the online magazine.
