Three people were arrested on charges of drug peddling from Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district and five kg of poppy straw was seized from their possession, a police officer said.

Dilip Raj, Amit Sharma and Sushil Kumar were arrested during checking at the railway road in Vijaypur, the officer said. He said the three men were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
