Three persons wanted in connection with the murder of a woman on the outskirts a few days ago were arrested today in Jaipalguri in West Bengal, police said

Three persons wanted in connection with the murder of a woman on the outskirts a few days ago were arrested today in Jaipalguri in West Bengal, police said.

Ajay, Binto and Samrat allegedly murdered the woman Rajamani and injured her husband Mayilsamy at Annur, about 35 Kms from here on Sunday. Investigation revealed that the three went to the couple's house seeking drinking water in the night and attacked them with weapons following which Rajamani was killed and Mayilsamy injured. Later they took away six sovereign of gold ornament worn by Rajamani and Rs one lakh from an almirah in the house.

The three were arrested with the help of local police in West Bengal, police said.
