Thumbs up for Buddh

The organisers of the Indian Grand Prix would have heaved a sigh of relief yesterday, as finally, the men who matter - the Formula One drivers - gave the thumbs up to the brand new Buddh International Circuit.

Schumacher:
"The track looks very interesting. There are some blind spots and some very high speed corners. Turn Three, in particular looks very interesting because it offers a blind spot and that's brings in some tactical perspective. Also, fans should thoroughly enjoy the action," he said.

Sutil:
Sahara Force India's Adrian Sutil didn't look particularly happy, but had a positive outlook. "The track still looks very dusty but I'm hopeful things will be cleaned up in time for practice. It's a good track though," he said.

Barrichello:
Team Williams' veteran driver Rubens Barrichello said the dust on track was no issue. "The dust is just like it is at any new track. it's fine. It's an interesting circuit," said the 39-year-old Brazilian.

Massa:
Ferrari's Felipe Massa was pleased with the breadth the track offered at certain places. "The wide areas makes it good as it offers a broader braking point and it's also great for overtaking," he said. As for not making way for Karun, Trulli said: "Karun is a fine driver but eventually it's purely a team decision and there's nothing that I can do about it."

Karthikeyan:
Hispania Racing Team's Narain Karthikeyan, just could not stop praising the track and the entire idea of having an Indian GP: "When I started off driving professionally, never did I ever imagine I would be driving in my own country, in a Formula One GP. So it's a very historic and symbolic moment for me. As for the track I've been saying this for a few days now, it's a great track."
