Turkish bikini model, who was linked with former World No 1 golfer, denies rumours about them being a couple; says that he is one of the nicest people she has ever met

NEW YORK: Various tabloids may have reported that there was some links between golf icon Tiger Woods (39) and Turkish bikini model Tugba Ercan (27), after pictures emerged of the duo hanging out at a World Poker Tour event last week. But Woods is not involved with the model.

Ercan has denied that they are a couple and also said that the former World No 1 golfer, who recently split with skiing champion Lindsey Vonn, didn’t even try flirting with her and was a perfect gentleman.

“They made it seem like it was something. It wasn’t. It was really just a picture. He was very nice and polite. (He’s) one of the nicest people I ever met. The charity work that he does with the World Poker Tour for children is amazing and moving to me,” she was quoted as saying by TMZ Sports website.
Woods over the years has earned a poor reputation. He had numerous affairs behind his wife Elin Nordegren’s back that led to the divorce in 2009.
Two weeks after his spilt from Vonn on May 3, a report in British tabloid Daily Mail had claimed that Woods and Vonn split because the golfer had cheated on the ski champ.

The professional golfer split with the Olympic skier after being together for three years.
“He (Woods) had a relapse in the sex department,” the report quoted a close friend of Vonn saying about Woods. The friend revealed that Woods had a one-night stand following his elimination from the San Diego-based Farmer’s Insurance Classic in February, and Vonn found out about it.
Shockingly though, instead of hiding it from Vonn, like he did with Nordegren, this time Woods is said to have admitted to it even before he was caught. The friend added: “He doesn’t even see it as cheating. It’s just stress relief. It’s hard for him to see that he’s bad. Maybe he’s not. He’s not married to Lindsey. But he also won’t get her back. She’s another strong woman like Elin, who respects herself too much.”
