Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia will be walking into the space of small screen through a cameo appearance in “Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan”. He is looking forward to his stint on the TV show.

The actor has come on board for a cameo appearance after insistence by Ekta Kapoor for her Star Plus show. He will be playing himself.

“I play myself in the show. There is a party sequence where the lead guy - Vibhav Roy - who is in his struggling phase tries to dance and impress me which doesn’t impress me at all. Ekta wanted me to play an episodic role and I happily did that for her,” Dhulia said in a statement.

The show, based in Jamshedpur, is about three friends who come from different cultural backgrounds and the plot revolves around a love triangle.

Other than Vibhav, Shritama Mukherjee and Gautam Gupta play lead role in the show.

The sequence will have Vibhav dancing to song “Badtameez dil”, through which he tries to impress Dhulia who has come as a guest in the party.

The show will beam on Star Plus from September 28, and the episode featuring Dhulia will air in the first week itself.
