Tintin memorabilia set to break record

The collection received finishing touches yesterday as they went on display in a Paris auction house ahead of its sale this weekend.

The auction is called The Worlds of Tintin’s Creator and what makes it special is the rare edition of the Belgium comic book hero’s adventures in addition to pictures, toys and postcards.

But perhaps the most special piece is the original cover from 1932. The Auction house already sold an original Tintin front page for a hefty ¤7,64,000
(Rs 5.30 crore) price tag in 2008.

So this coming weekend the auction house may set a new record for such memorabilia.u00a0The auction will take place in Paris this Saturday.
