Boys' U-19 top seed Samir Mistry and second seed Aakash Borwankar crashed out of the Matunga Gymkhana Junior Open Squash Tournament yesterday.

Fourth seed Rohan Paranjape of Willingdon Sports Club, Mahalaxmi beat Mistry of Otters Club 7-11, 11-9, 6-11, 11-4, 12-10 in a thrilling semi-final after trailing 1-2.

Paranjape set up a title clash with third seed Abhimanyu Shah of Bombay Gymkhana, who fashioned the other upset of the day when he shocked Borwankar across four games ufffd 11-6, 9-11, 11-6, 11-7 in the second semi-final.

Meanwhile, top seed Yohan Pandole of CCI beat Nikhil Makhija of Otters Club 12-10, 11-9, 11-6 to enter the boys' U-15 final.
