Traffic diversions between Mahim and Dadar for Bal Thackeray's death anniversary
Many roads in and around Shivaji Park will be cordoned off and traffic diverted today, with Shiv Sainiks expected to converge to commemorate Bal Thackeray's first death anniversary
Expect long detours if you are travelling between Dadar and Mahim today as lakhs of Shiv Sainiks are expected to come to Shivaji Park to mark Bal Thackeray’s first death anniversary. The traffic police has imposed restrictions.
Parking allowed on roads
>> Whole of Senapati Bapat Marg, Mahim to Dadar
>> Five Gardens to Matunga
>> Lakhamsi Nappu Road
No entry zones
>> Swatantryaveer Savarkar Road to Siddhivinayak to Kapda Bazaar
>> Rajbadi Chowk junction to Keluskar Marg north junction
>> Dilip Gupte Marg and Pandurang Naik Marg cannot go towards south
>> Gadkari Chowk to Keluskar Road south and north
>> Left from Mahim junction for Senapati Bapat Marg
>> LJ Road-Rajbadi Marg- Senapati Bapat Marg.
>> Right from Sion junction to Sant Rohidas Marg for T junction and Y junction via Dharavi
>> Dr BA road–Dadar TT–vehicles to be taking the Ruia road and going towards Five Garden to park
>> Dr Annie Beasant– Kashinath Ghanekar junction–Sayane Road-Park at Senapati Bapat Marg
Savarkar Marg, Dilip Gupte Marg, Rajbadi Chowk Junction to Keluskar Junction, Gadkari Chowk to Keluskar, Dadashaeb Rege to Senapati Bapat Marg till Gadkari Chowk, Padmabhai Thakker to Senapati Bapat Marg, Lady Jamshediji.
