Triple murder rocks Kolkata
Incident took place right opposite CPM leader and former chief minister Budhhadeb Bhattacharjee's residence
Kolkata: The bodies of three members of a family, suspected to have been murdered, were found inside an apartment in Kolkata’s Palm Avenue area on Saturday, the police said.
This is right opposite CPM leader and former chief minister Budhhadeb Bhattacharjee’s residence. “They were identified as Jessica Fonseca and her two sons Tarren and Joshua,” said Special Additional Commissioner of Kolkata Police (Crime) Debasish Boral.
Jessica’s husband, Neil Fonseca, was found injured and has been hospitalised. Police suspect family dispute behind the deaths, adding that the exact reason would be revealed in the post-mortem. “The murder took place early in the morning. The husband has given us some statements. There are several injuries by heavy objects,” the police said.
